Pretend with Confidence= getting in the door

I just started my website right...it's entertainment based at www.FindEntertainmentNow.com and www.FindEntertainmentNow.blogspot.com and I wanted to get in for the second annual BET Hip Hop Awards parties and events this past weekend in Atlanta, GA as a media person with those official credentials. Since I am new and have 0% true experience I didn't know how I was gonna do what I wanted to do so what I did was pretended my way in. I tell you if you pretend 1, have confidence in those pretending skills 2, and network 3 you can get lots of places. Just act like you know that u r important (bcz you truly are FABULOUSO anyway dahhhhling) and somebody is gonna believe it and let you in. Now once you get in make the most of it and network (do this before the event so you know about the events and during so you know about future events!) so you can meet the right people and be invited back again or to other events.

1. Look the part (dress, smile, hair, all flawless as possible)
2. Be poised
3. Be positive & pleasant
4. Converse
5. Remember names, take down info
6. Don't cause a riff at the door if for some reason you are not allowed access bcz the people that matter may remember that in the future. We always want a good rep people.
7. And off course do alot of praying...God allowed me to go to some pretty exclusive and swanky events this weekend due to prayer, networking and all the above. I dressed the part and remained a lady in the madness that surrounded the weekend...and it was a fun madness but a madness still.

Anyway good luck with pretending until you become what you already know you are inside. It's just that the others don't know it yet but they soon will. Now don't think of this as lying (Don't tell someone you are from BET if you are not... or that you have a production company with 10 films if you don't...come on now!) but rather being crafty in your confidence!
